Thank you for your question - 27" is a bit of an odd size for a table, so we wouldn't recommend this table base, or any 18" disc base. The 18" is too small of a base to bear the weight of a granite table of that size, but if you were to choose the 22" size, it doesn't leave you enough room for your stools underneath. We would recommend the 22" base for a 30" granite table.
